Ancol Ergo Flea Comb

The Ancol Ergo Flea Comb is ideal for getting fleas and flea eggs out of any type of coat.

To use, ensure your dog's coat is free of tangles of knots. Gently comb the hair in the direction of the fur growth. Use the comb on the whole body, but pay particular attention to the neck and around the ears as this is when fleas are likely to be. To ensure your dog has an enjoyable grooming session, do not push the comb into the dog's skin. The fine stainless-steel teeth will trap and remove fleas.

Grooming tips: Dogs that are new to grooming should be introduced to it slowly. Begin grooming sessions when your dog is relaxed, if possible, after they  have exercised. Use tools gently and avoid tugging on the skin or on knots or mats. Give your dog plenty of reassurance throughout the grooming session. Pause or end the grooming session if your dog becomes agitated or shows signs of stress. Keep grooming sessions brief to begin with, and increase the length of the sessions as your dog becomes used to grooming
